Now for the hard part, writing a bio...
I was born and raised in the Henderson, Las Vegas area, and I've wanted to be an artist since as far back as I remember. I like making things. Always have. There’s something special about creating something from nothing and making something new. I’m inspired by all things pop culture, but am also at home just sketching a landscape or coming up with something weird and random.
I am a visual designer specializing in digital art, as well as brand design. While I started off as a self-taught artist, I also attended Bellevue University where I received my Bachelor’s in Graphic Design. I was also fortunate enough to work as a Visual designer for Zappos.com for the first few years of my professional design career, where I learned an incredible amount about production design as well as visual storytelling.
In 2017, my incredible wife Deidra and I started our small business, Foolish Mortal Supply Co. Specializing in art, apparel, and home goods. With Deidra the obvious brains behind the operation, I have had the great joy of handling the creative side of the company. Having created hundreds of designs at this point, FMSCO shows no signs of slowing. I feel very lucky to get to work on something I’m so passionate about with my best friend and partner.
Art and design have proven to be the biggest of challenges and the greatest of joys for me. I love it like I didn't think I could love a "job." That might sound corny, but it's true. Every new project comes with its own new set of challenges as well as the excitement to tackle them. I feel very lucky to have been able to do the work I've done in the past, and will continue to work as hard as I can to ensure I get to do this for as long as possible.
